15.06.19 The Morning Swallows

Updated: Jun 16, 2019

I spent a lot of this morning watching the Swallows feed...these photos required a lot of patience and good timing but my god was it rewarding. Lightning quick movement and changes in direction make it tricky to shoot these winged beings but the results are stunning!

I also managed to find the resident Kestrel perched on a pylon. I didn't hang around too long as my presence seemed to bother him after a while...look at that piercing gaze!

Amongst the excitement were the regular sightings of Robins, Goldfinches, Starlings and Chaffinches.
