From the deepest depths of France...

From the deepest, darkest depths of France (and via a Mobile Hotspot) I bring a Juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker! The bright red cap on their head is absolutely stunning!

They spent a lot of the day feeding and being generally a bit skittish, before I got the chance to take a decent photo.
