A Red-Footed Falcon in gorgeous, golden hour sunlight.
I couldn't resist a trip over the hill to see the Falcon in fantastic photography conditions. I wasn't confident he would be there, as he had been spotted flying off in the middle of the day, however I needn't have worried.
He was again very obliging and happily perched on the posts before flying out into the field to feed.
It wasn't ideal conditions for shooting him in flight as the backdrop was very bright, but I did get a couple of shots I like.
He's not looking like going anywhere anytime soon, so I'm sure I'll be back up there in the near future!
